Hassles of Driving In Singapore

The affluence of Singapore is rising and a lot of people are also visiting this country for tourist or business purposes. The rise in the economic level of society   has led to an increase in everything thing in the society. Properties, Cars, Petrol, insurance, and other items are also becoming expensive. Lots of Car owner have sell their car and opt for renting a car in Singapore as the rental rates cover the insurance, road tax and maintenance.  No more hassles and worries with increasing rate of car insurance and its due date.

Singapore Car Rental Companies had been very competitive with their car rental rates as more demand of car rental nowadays in Singapore. People will search around car rental companies as there are many rental cars around in Singapore.

Searching online nowadays is getting more popular as there is many car rental companies online.   Before searching for car rental in Singapore, ensure that you know that you know that what you want, what make of car you are looking for, auto or manual when to when you need and check whether date you choose is a public holiday, this will save lots of time when surfing the net.

If you want a car during public holiday renting; booking should be made in advance at least 2 weeks to 1 month to prevent disappointment for your holiday season. During big event like Chinese New Year and Hari Raya Pussa  there is heavy booking and it is not easy to get a car.

Singapore car leasing on a weekly basis is very prudent. Weekend rates are great, but weekly rates are usually the best of all. At one company that was surveyed, a subcompact went for a weekday rate of $50-$60 That same car could be rented on a weekly basis for just $$350-$400 , a savings of more than 30 percent if you used the vehicle for all seven days, and more than 10 percent if you returned it after five days. If you plan on using the vehicle for five days or more, choose the weekly rate.

When you rent car, you will be offered a collision damage waiver (CDW) and a loss damage waiver (LDW). The first covers you in the event of a collision, while the second covers any loss to the rental company. Both kinds of coverage are a good idea, but not if they duplicate coverage already included in your own insurance policy. Most insurance policies offer liability coverage to protect you if you injure someone in an accident; some also cover rental-car damage via comprehensive and collision coverage. Check your policy or call your insurance agent to verify coverage before signing up for a vehicle. If you are renting the car with a credit card, your card provider may pay for vehicle damages associated with an accident. Check with your card company ahead of time to make sure.

Stay with the same car rental company to get regular discount, sometime they will give you a free upgrade to a bigger and nicer car if the car you booked.    Some car rental companies offers membership program, check it out with them what they offer, some even offer voucher. Driving in Singapore can be done with a free mind and you will be able to have maximum enjoyment while in Singapore.
